For many years, we have successfully operated Oslocampervan, but the high volume of inquiries from eager explorers wanting to discover Norway compelled us to expand. Discovering Norway with a camper van or motorhome is incredibly popular and truly the best way to explore our beautiful, expansive country. To meet this demand, we invited Norwegian private camper van and motorhome owners to join our network, and thus Kampyng was born. Kampyng is run by Oslocampervan, a family-owned business that puts customers first and is passionate about showcasing our stunning country. With our local knowledge and well-maintained private vehicles, we ensure you have a fantastic journey in Norway.
Family owned business
Kampyng is a small family-run service operated by Helene and Jostein. We are a family of four with two kids and two dogs, living in Oslo. Our passion for travel and the outdoors led us to rent a camper van for two months, exploring the magnificent landscapes and destinations of Norway. This experience inspired us to buy our own camper van and share it with others, leading to the creation of OsloCampervan.
With our technical expertise, we built a portal to expand our reach, allowing even more people to experience Norway in a camper van or motorhome. As demand grew, we invited private camper van and motorhome owners to join our network, leading to the creation of Kampyng. We are proud to help others discover the beauty of Norway with well-maintained vehicles and local knowledge.
